HMS Wales are recruiting for Sailors to join our ship's company.
Our ship's company aim to portray the various roles on board a Royal Navy warship and as part of the Sea Fencibles
Some of these roles include; seamanship, signalling, cooking, manning the guns, forming boarding parties, keeping watch, pike & musket drill and so much more.
If you are interested in meeting the crew, we would be happy to invite you to one of our events. We will partner you up with an experienced member of the crew, who will show the ropes as a 'mate'.
You'll get to have a go and try out the various activities we have during the day, and in the evening, join the rest of the crew round the campfire singing sea shanties!
We welcome adults and children to join our ship's company; reenacting is a fantastic hobby for all the family and there's something for everyone.
Our sailors interact with members of the public through our Nelson's Navy Challenge, as a member you will be part of creating this experience for members of the public, as well as taking part in live firing displays and reenactment battles.
